The Bourbon Orleans hotel was once a convent and orphanage as is said to be the home for a number of ghosts including a young girl who is seen rolling a ball and chasing it down the sixth floor corridors, a ghostly dancer in the ballroom and a soldier who inhabits the third and sixth floors.
8. Anchorage Hotel, Alaska US
Police Officer John J “Black Jack” Sturgus was discovered shot in the back with a bullet from his own gun in the Anchorage Hotel and is now rumoured to return every year seeking justice for the unsolved crime.
9. Heathman Hotel, Portland, Oregon US
Guests in the Heathman hotel have reported lots of paranormal activity, including strange drops in temperature and unexplained noises. Some guests have also claimed to have seen a hazy face watching them in the shadows and have reported objects which have moved unexpectedly and towels soiled with no explanation.
