15. Lamprey
A lamprey is a jawless fish, which is known for boring into the flesh of other fish to suck on blood (although 18 out of 38 known species of lamprey are in fact parasitic). King Henry I of England is said to have died after eating a surfeit (basically an awful lot) of Lampreys.
