10. Tupac Shakur

June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996 (age 25)

Tupac Shakur was another victim of a drive-by shooting, when he was shot multiple times at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in Las Vegas Nevada on the 7th September 1996. Although Tupac held on for 6 days, he eventually succumbed to his injuries on the 13th September.

The last known photo of Tupac (below) was taken right before he was shot.

11. Freddie Mercury

5 September 1946 – 24 November 1991 (age 45)

Often hailed as the greatest frontman of all time, the legendary Queen singer died on the 24th November 1991 of bronchial pneumonia, resulting from Aids. There is some conflict about Freddie’s final photo, but it is generally accepted that this one, which shows him looking frail and gaunt from his illness in the Spring of 1991, was his last public photo.
