3. Capuchin Catacombs, Italy

Within these Catacombs there are over 8000 mummies since 16^th century, divided in sections (kids, monks, men, women…). What makes them even scarier is that the bodies remain practically intact. Today, the Catacombs remain as a touristic attraction in Palermo.

2. Aokigahara Forest (aka Suicide Forest), Japan

A suicide forest that has inspired several films in Hollywood is actually real. In average, 50 to 100 people commit suicide in this ice-cold, lonely forest.
