3. Capuchin Catacombs, Italy

Within these Catacombs there are over 8000 mummies since 16th century, divided in sections (kids, monks, men, women…). What makes them even scarier is that the bodies remain practically intact. Today, the Catacombs remain as a touristic attraction in Palermo.
