OK, this is a little freaky! If you’ve ever asked yourself the question of what your favourite cartoon character would look like, then today is your lucky day! If you’re in the other 99.9% of us who have never given the subject a second thought, then I promise you’ll still find this fascinating.
South Korean artist Hyungkoo Lee has used resin, wire, aluminium sticks and paint to recreate the skeletons of famous cartoon characters including Bugs Bunny, Goofy, Tom and Jerry and more. Obviously he has had to use his imagination a little, but he has attempted to accurately capture the anatomy of each animal and combine it with their exaggerated cartoon features. The resulting models are pretty cool (if a little creepy) to say the least!
Donald Duck has certainly lost weight..
Looks like all that running around has finally caught up on Roadrunner…
I guess that TNT finally did it for Wile E. Coyote…

No more goofing around for Goofy…
Bugs Bunny as you’ve never seen him before…
In the words of Porky Pig… that’s all folks… but you can find out more and see other cartoon skeletons at the artist’s website. All skeleton images belong to Hyungkoo Lee (via IFLScience).
