Why It’s Perfect…

[adsense-inline]The Wire was another ground breaking TV show, which ushered in a new style of TV drama.
The final episode of the series manages to tie together the storylines which have been running for the past 5 seasons and maintain the realism, which was the show’s signature. While there is plenty there to satisfy the audience and we see echoes of past seasons, the show still remains true to the major changes the characters have been through.
The finale is a reminder of what made the show great, using mini scenes to drive forward several plot lines at once and ensuring The Wire kept up its outstanding quality right to the end.
