Visit Scotland: Loch Ness

No trip to Scotland would be complete without a visit to Loch Ness.
The Loch is of course famous worldwide for the legendary tales of ‘Nessie’ (the Loch Ness Monster), but there are plenty of other things to do in the area besides monster spotting.
At over 20 miles in length, there are charming villages to visit (including Drumnadrochit and Fort Augustus), a historic castle to explore (Urquhart Castle) and plenty of excellent walks, which take in some of the most breathtaking scenery in Scotland.

And if you’re not lucky enough to spot Nessie while exploring the loch, you can always pay a visit to Nessieland, where you can find out more about the history and mystery of Loch Ness and its eponymous monster.
